Theme Party Ideas

A Big Minnie Birthday
Nov 27, 2005
Definitely a FastPass to fun with mini-food, minnie ears, cartoon gloves, and painted noses!

Costumes:
Ashlyn’s Minnie dress and shoes were purchased on e-bay, the oversized cartoon gloves were from a garage sale, and her ears were from her trip to Disneyland (but of course!) Tracia’s spotted shirt was from Target, and Doug’s Goofy hat from a garage sale ($.25). Kian’s ears and gloves were part of the guest craft project.

We asked guests to wear red, black, and/or white, and then offered them white gloves (Dollar Tree) where we glued black felt teardrop shapes on back, minnie ears cut out from black and red card stock (taped onto headbands), and used black Halloween makeup on their noses.

Decorations:
White circle stickers (OfficeMax) placed on red tablecloths
Mouse-ear shaped Paint chips from Disney brand paint (Home Depot) in red, black, and white suspended from the ceiling with curling ribbon
Ashlynland sign (painted by my mom for Ashlynland party)
Various Minnie and Mickey Mouse toys and books (garage sales, thrift stores)

Food:
Minnie Pizzas (Bagel bites)
Minnie Hot Dogs (cocktail weiners)
Minnie Carrots

Mickey & Minnies (mini M&Ms)
