Blues Clues Birthday

We went nuts with a Blue's Clues theme. Doug let me dress him in a Goodwill women's shirt (a steal for only $2). It was originally blue, green, and white striped, so I dyed it green so the white would look the right color, and the 'blue' stripes ended up just looking dark green. Since the shirt's collar wasn't right, I removed it and had him wear a simply white polo underneath, plus of course he already had brown pants and shoes to finish the outfit. He was happy to act like Steve all afternoon.

Ashlyn wore a store-bought (AACK! The horror!) Blue outfit all day to complete the atmosphere.

The picture was thought up on impulse to mock the cover of the "Blue's Clue's Birthday" video. To accomplish this feat practically, two party guests held the butcher paper "frame" I had as decoration in front of the blow-up thinking chair and stuffed Blue doll. Well, yes, the rest of the graphic is photoshop, but it's it amazing how much we could do even without it?!?
