Halloween Costume

No we’re not George and Martha Washington.

My costume is from a pattern, and is probably the most successful, and EXPENSIVE, piece of clothing I've ever made myself. I think the lace alone was like $15 (and I got the cheapest one possible)!

Doug's was put together from pajama pants, a women's white dress shirt (turned backwards), a vest made from fabric, and a corduroy bathrobe (yeah, I know, but it really was one, I swear). Everything found at the Goodwill, except, of course, the wig (Wishing Well), and the ascot which was put together from a scrap of fabric nearly identical to the women's shirt. I even made fake buckles to go over the shoelaces on his shoes, though they fell off within minutes.
