Murder Mystery Costume

I find murder mystery parties fun, so Britta Peterson agreed to host "The Willing Dead" as part of my own birthday celebration. Doug and I were supposed to play an estranged, rich middle-aged couple, so I wore my favorite choral performing dress, while he dressed in his tuxedo (which he also wears in every choral performance!) and $1 white gloves from Wishing Well.

The real costuming came in with grey hairspray and strategically drawn lines with an eyebrow pencil. Quite effective, don't you agree?

One little $1.99 can of grey (actually, it was silver, but it ended up looking grey enough) hairspray and TRUG aged ten years. Isn't that what everyone wants to do on their birthday--purposefully look older? Now if they can only come out with a product for $1.99 that TAKES AWAY ten years, well, that would be a birthday present!

Funny trivia--though I was supposed to be in my forties, I am pregnant with Kian in this picture! http://www.britta.com/mystery/willing/index.htmlshapeimage_2_link_0
